This position is conditional upon an acceptable background check.
Applicants must be able to work a nontraditional schedule (nights and weekends)
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license
Time Frame of Assistantship:
The successful graduate student can work up to two (2) academic years (i.e. beginning August 1, 2024 through May 31, 2026), with satisfactory performance in the graduate program and in the assistantship area.
The successful graduate student should expect to work more than ten (10) but less than twenty (20) hours each week.
Compensation :
$5,000/academic year (August 1 - May 31)
Tuition waiver offered.
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
This position may:
Assist in organizing, preparing team practices, skill development sessions, and competition
Have a working knowledge of Synergy Sports for film editing
Assisting the coaching staff in recruiting, and scouting for future athletes
Assisting with team travel both varsity and JV
Other duties as assigned
Applicants should have:
Knowledge of college basketball and NAIA rules
Effective Communication skills
Ability to operate a motor vehicle
