Purpose of Role

Daemen University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Men's Soccer Graduate Assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year. Under supervision, the Graduate Assistant for Men's Soccer provides support to the head coach in the areas of coaching, operations, fundraising, camps, and recruiting. Daemen is a member of the East Coast Conference (ECC). The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver for up to nine graduate credits per semester. The applicant will be responsible for the cost of any fees associated with the program. This position is renewable for the next academic year conditional upon satisfactory performance, availability of funds and adherence to all Daemen College academic requirements and employment protocols.

About This Opportunity

Joining our Athletic team, the Graduate Assistant Men's Soccer Coach will be responsible for the following:

• Will serve as the assistant to the Head Men's Soccer Coach.
• The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with daily practices and weight training sessions, assisting with the recruitment of student athletes, attending all games, team functions and tournaments, assisting with volunteering and fundraising.
• Supports a positive and competitive team environment.
• Performs other job-related duties as designated by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.

Required Qualifications

• Playing experience at the NCAA Division 1 or 2 level.
• Required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the academic school year based on the credit hours attempted.
• A valid U.S. driver's license.
• Applicants are preferred to have goalkeeping experience at the college level or have goalkeeper certification.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Admission into a postgraduate program at Daemen University is required.
