Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated, self-reflective, and to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Softball experience as a collegiate student-athlete and/or experience coaching is preferred.
Ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license endorsement to assist with team travel.
Duties Include
Practice: Assist in organization, scheduling, and running practices.
Communication: Manage team social media and external communication.
Recruiting: Identify and communicate with prospects, travel to competitions, conduct campus visits.
Fundraising: Assist in team events to grow knowledge of, and support for, the program.
Coaching: Assist with individual and team practices, competitions, and team functions.
Other duties include assisting with scheduling, academic support, strength and conditioning, and more.
Terms of Employment
Two-year consecutive commitment running August 1 – May 31 of 2024 & 2025.
Must maintain passing grades in enrolled Master of Arts in Leadership coursework.
Compensation
Full graduate tuition for the Master of Arts in Leadership program.
On-Campus housing.
Meal plan selection from one of four meal plans offerings.
Team/Coaching uniforms.
