Graduate Assistant – Event Management
. This individual will assist the game manager or serving as game, manager/main point of contact at assigned sports and events, and preparing and distributing communications & materials for gameday operations.

Assisting the game manager or serving as game
Manager/main point of contact at assigned sports and events
Preparing and distributing communications & materials for gameday operations
Leading in event staffing scheduling, training and education – contracted and student staff
Assist with facility setup and credentialing
Managing all day-to-day office responsibilities as assigned
This position will apply functional knowledge, skills, and abilities from the educational program that are related to the administration and coordination of student affairs, management of student services, and student personnel administration. The benefits added will be related to enhancing their ability to develop, program, and implement student services administrative activities as they interact with a variety of students.
Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekend hours.
Admitted to a graduate degree-seeking or certificate program at Auburn University.
Bachelor’s degree in business, sport management, or related field.
Registered for at least one course (anything carrying an Auburn University course number) during each academic term of the assistantship.
Expectations:
Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekend hours.
We are looking for a candidate who desires to hold this position for two years.
Experience working in a collegiate or professional sport event management is preferred.
