Hastings College is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant - Football.
Responsible to the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach assisting in the overall management and leadership of the intercollegiate Football program. This program will support the philosophy, mission, and standards of Hastings College, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), and the NAIA.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintain a highly competitive intercollegiate program within rules and regulations of the institution, the GPAC and NAIA.
Assist in planning, organizing and managing all phases of the program including: teaching student-athlete skill development and mental/motivating techniques for competition, scheduling and supervision of practice and game sessions, supervision of support staff members in an efficient and productive manner monitoring and maintaining the discipline and conduct of student-athletes to support the image and reputation of the athletics program.
Recruit and retain academically qualified student-athletes within the guidelines of Hastings College, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), and the NAIA.
Maintain a roster that is competitive within the GPAC and NAIA and support the college enrollment strategy/mission.
Monitor student-athlete progression to ensure graduation, retention, and eligibility
Work cooperatively with faculty members, admission, alumni, and development office personnel, the sports information director, all student support services, and all athletic department personnel.
Additional video and equipment duties may also be included.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Admittance into the Hastings College Masters of Teaching Program is also required.
Graduate Assistant positions include tuition waiver, a $5,000 yearly stipend, and potential on-campus housing free of charge.
