About the Role:

The Graduate Assistant Football position is designed to support the football program within an educational institution by providing both administrative and on-field assistance. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Acceptance into a graduate program at the employing educational institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of football rules, strategies, and training techniques.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a football player or coach at the collegiate or high school level.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head coach and coaching staff in planning and conducting daily practice sessions and game-day activities.
• Support athlete development through individual skill training, conditioning programs, and performance analysis.
• Manage administrative tasks such as coordinating team travel, maintaining equipment, and organizing practice schedules.
• Analyze game footage and statistical data to provide insights that inform coaching strategies and player improvements.
• Serve as a liaison between the coaching staff, athletes, and academic departments to ensure compliance with institutional and NCAA regulations.

Skills:

The required skills such as knowledge of football strategies and strong communication are essential for effectively assisting coaching staff and interacting with student-athletes.
