Position Information:

Minot State University Athletics is looking for a creative and passionate individual who loves engaging with fans and creating a fun atmosphere through interactions. Individuals should work well with others in a high-paced, and exciting work environment. This position will be under the Assistant Director of Athletics for Revenue & Fan Development, and the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. This position will be responsible for maintaining marketing and promotions standards for select sports and groups within Minot State Athletics Department with primary objectives dedicated to attendance, atmosphere, revenue and branding. The position will require a strong, working knowledge and understanding of NCAA, Conference and Institutional rules and regulations.
You will have the opportunity to:
Serve as Marketing Manager for assigned sports, including the following:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, game presentation, scripts/run-of-show, fan engagement, and box office operations for assigned sports.
- Oversee design and approval of promotional flyers and distribution.
- Promote sports-specific events leading up to games for selected sports.

You will have the opportunity to:
Serve as Marketing Manager for assigned sports, including the following:

- Promote sports-specific events leading up to games for selected sports.
- Lead communications with other departments on timing, programs, advertising, and other needs.
- Coordinate all on-field events and promotions as they relate to in-game experience.
- Manage pre-game efforts including team of student-workers, fan zone set up, and any additional needs.
Direct Supervision of game day staff and interns with fellow Graduate Assistant:
- Training and scheduling of Gameday Staff for assigned sport.
- Work office hours and athletic events.
Other:
- Assist with community events.
- Manage marketing collateral requests.
- Assist Assistant AD for Revenue and Fan Development and Associate AD for External Relations on assigned projects.
- Assist with special events.
- Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and Minot State University Compliance rules.
- This position will be required to work nights and weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues
-Applicants must be accepted into the Minot State University Graduate School and pass a background check. Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience within the field of Collegiate Athletics Marketing
- General knowledge of graphic design and corresponding Adobe software
- Experience with social media platforms
A stipend and tuition waiver in the amount of 18 credit hours is provided for the academic year. The tuition waiver can be applied to fall, spring, and summer semesters.
