Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the head lacrosse coach, this position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the University’s varsity lacrosse program. The assistant coach will primarily provide assistance in coaching instruction to lacrosse student-athletes during practices and games. This position requires frequent interaction with the head coach, assistant coaches and athletic trainers to help promote a successful and positive athletic experience for all lacrosse student-athletes. This position works under general supervision of the head coach.

Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the head lacrosse coach, this position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the University’s varsity lacrosse program. The assistant coach will primarily provide assistance in coaching instruction to lacrosse student-athletes during practices and games. This position requires frequent interaction with the head coach, assistant coaches and athletic trainers to help promote a successful and positive athletic experience for all lacrosse student-athletes. This position works under general supervision of the head coach.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for enhancing the performance of lacrosse student-athletes.

• Assist with the implementation of the practice plans athletes approved and/or established by the head coach.

• Works with coaches to determine progress and making needed individual adjustments.

• Attends practices and games.

• Assists coaching staff with administrative tasks, as assigned by the head coach. This includes but is not limited to helping with opponent scouts and evaluating recruit videos.

• Some travel may be required.

Salary Range:

• $17.50-$24.00 per hour.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-Time.

• 15 hours per week.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree encouraged.

• Approximately 1-2 years coaching experience or experience playing lacrosse at the collegiate or professional level preferred.
