This position is responsible for supporting the management of the Sports Communication program of the University.
This ten-month position (August-May) provides a competitive compensation package that includes a tuition waiver for 18 graduate degree hours and a monthly stipend. The Graduate Assistant reports to the Associate Director of Athletics, Sports Communication. This position begins Fall 2025.

Create game programs and promotional items for the University’s Athletics Program.
Coordinate and deploy social media and webpage as effective marketing strategies for the Athletics Program.
Assist in all aspects of the Sports Communication department, including writing press releases, feature stories, photos, videos (shooting, editing, and production).
Assist with responsibilities related to game day, including maintaining statistics.
Webcast and livestream University sporting events.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree is required. Acceptance into a post-bachelor’s academic program at the University, as well as full-time course registration into the same program of study is also required. Must have working knowledge and skill set of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
