Graduate Assistant - Sports Performance

The University of Evansville is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach. The primary responsibility of the position is to oversee all aspects of physical preparation for the University of Evansville’s Women’s Basketball program. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the implementation of training programs for all other sport teams, maintenance and upkeep of the weight room, and performing other daily tasks as required by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance. 

Applicants must possess, or obtain prior to start, CSCS, SCCC and/or USAW certification as well as First Aid/CPR/AED certification. A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Exercise Science or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience in a competitive collegiate strength and conditioning program, having preferably worked with both male and female athletes in a variety of sports.
