Description

Under the general direction of the Director of Strength and Conditioning, the Graduate Assistant for Strength and Conditioning develops and implements sports performance programs for student-athletes to enhance their strength, power, speed, and agility while ensuring a holistic approach to health and safety.

Essential Duties include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Coaching (50%)

  • Design and implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams;
  • Educate student-athletes and coaches on proper techniques and safety standards;
  • Establish and enforce rules and regulations for the performance facility;
  • Collaborate with the sports medicine department to mitigate injury risk and assist with rehabilitation programming.
