POSITION SUMMARY:  Grad assistant would work closely with coaching staff to prepare team for the season.  They would also be involved in field maintenance and maintaining equipment. 

This position is time-bound with a defined start and end date. To qualify, the individual must be enrolled in graduate-level coursework at Mid-America Christian University during the appointment period. This position is designed to support academic and professional development while fulfilling specific duties aligned with departmental needs. While the role may offer benefits such as a tuition scholarship and/or stipend, continued eligibility is contingent upon active enrollment and satisfactory academic and job performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees the conduct, discipline, and positive character of student –athletes by the guidelines and principles of
• MACU and the NAIA Champions of Character initiative. 
•  Coaches or directs players in techniques of game.
•  Help plan and develop a recruitment plan; recruiting potential college athletics
•  Supervise, conduct, and control all practice and training sessions.
•  Lead and develop programs that will strengthen the character of the student athletics.
• Compose and compile all game statistics.
•  Maintain a professional looking complex for recruits, visiting teams, students and alumni.
• Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Basic computer skills will be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift equipment that can weigh up to 50 lbs. Must also be willing and able to mow, weed eat and other maintenance to the soccer facility.withstand long travel and standing for long periods of time
