About the Role:

The Graduate Assistant for Women's Soccer plays a pivotal role in supporting the coaching staff and contributing to the overall success of the women's soccer program within an educational institution. This position involves assisting with daily team operations, including practice planning, player development, and game preparation, while fostering a positive and competitive team environment. The Graduate Assistant will also engage in administrative duties such as coordinating travel, managing equipment, and maintaining compliance with institutional and athletic regulations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in collegiate athletics, combining practical coaching responsibilities with academic pursuits. Ultimately, the Graduate Assistant will help enhance the student-athlete experience and contribute to the program’s competitive achievements and reputation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Acceptance into a graduate program at the employing institution.
  • Demonstrated experience playing or coaching soccer at the collegiate or competitive youth level.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a graduate assistant or coaching intern in collegiate athletics.
