Hiram College is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. Hiram College is a private liberal arts institution located in northeast Ohio. The College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III.
The Graduate Assistant Women’s Volleyball position is a 10-month position which reports to the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach and Director of Athletics. The graduate assistant is responsible for assisting with on-court coaching, with the organization and implementation of a successful recruiting and retention plan for the program, possibly supervising student coaches or managers, supporting the strength and conditioning program, representing the program in accordance with department/college policies and procedures, and acting in accord with NCAA and institutional rules and regulations. Other administrative duties in the athletic department may be assigned, such as support of event management for other sports when not in the traditional competitive season for the women’s volleyball program. Candidates must be accepted to the Hiram College Master’s program in order to be considered for this position and must continue to progress toward Master’s degree completion during the appointment period.
