Description

Grand View (Des Moines, IA): Grand View University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a Men’s Wrestling - Graduate Assistant position (tuition waiver + stipend) starting Fall 2026 semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Include, but are not limited to, assisting the Grand View Wrestling staff in all aspects of operating a championship-level collegiate wrestling program. Responsibilities may include practice planning and implementation, individual athlete development, recruiting, match preparation, travel coordination, video breakdown, social media/content assistance, and other duties assigned by the coaching staff. Candidates will gain valuable hands-on experience in all areas of collegiate wrestling while working within one of the nation’s premier programs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to pursue a career in collegiate coaching and possess a strong work ethic, high character, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and willingness to learn and grow within a high-performance environment. Collegiate wrestling experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel, MatBoss, Trackwrestling, and social media/content creation is also preferred. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
