The successful candidate for this position will lead in all aspects of a collegiate acrobatics and tumbling program, including, but not limited to, recruiting qualified student-athletes, monitoring academic progress toward degree, budgeting, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and program development, facility maintenance, fundraising, and community activity. The incumbent must fulfill these duties while adhering to all rules, guidelines, and principles as set forth by NCATA, the NCAA, Conference Carolinas and Belmont Abbey College.

Apply NowPreference will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate a vision in the recruitment of student-athletes that fits well with the institution’s mission and character as a distinctively Catholic and Benedictine college that views sport as a means of developing virtue. The minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree, professional membership in USA Gymnastics, NCATA experience and/or affiliation, and at least one year of experience coaching acrobatics and tumbling at the collegiate level.

Finally, candidates must have a sincere appreciation and acceptance of our Catholic approach to education and an understanding of Pope Saint John Paul II’s Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
