SUMMARY

SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for a Head Athletic Trainer. Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance, this position serves as Head Athletic Trainer directly supervising the athletic trainers, athletic training aides/interns, and student assistants.. They manage the complete administration of all operations and staff of the medical care services for all of SUNY Brockport intercollegiate student-athletes. This is a full time, benefits-eligible, 11-month position, with the month of June off.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:
Athletic Training & Medical Services

  • Directs all aspects of athletic training and medical care services for all intercollegiate athletic teams including practice and game coverage, risk management and prevention of injuries, assessment and evaluation of injuries, acute care, and rehabilitation of injuries.
  • Coordinates with URMC to work with team physician.
