Job Description

Job Summary

The athletic trainer plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and performance of over 250 varsity student-athletes in addition to 25 other club sport participants. The majority of this work is clinical in nature with more of an emphasis on prioritizing one on one patient care. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, evaluation, rehabilitation, manual therapy, dry needling, concussion management and movement analysis. In addition, there is an administrative scope of work that includes policy development, treatment protocols, pre-participation screening, health and safety training, emergency procedures, club sport oversight and budget management. Field experience in this position is highly valued given that this position requires independent oversight and direction of multiple athletic teams and/or student-athletes throughout the year.

Take appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participate in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment.
