Job Description:

Expectations include, but are not limited to:

• development and implementation of a successful intercollegiate athletic training program to include planning, organization, coordination, and management of health care to intercollegiate student-athletes
• budget management
• supervision of the operation of athletic training facilities
• evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and documentation of injuries
• scheduling athletic training coverage for 18 NCAA sports teams
• working with team physicians with rehabilitation programs and return protocol
• adherence to institutional, Gulf South Conferenceand NCAA rules and regulations
• supporting the vision of the CBU Athletics Department
• other duties as assigned

This position reports to the Director of Athletics and must be able to develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, and students, while interacting successfully with department personnel and the College community.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, graduate of a CAATE Accredited Athletic Training Program, and a minimum of five (5) years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specific to this position. Excellent communication and computer skills required. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred qualifications include aMaster's degree from an accredited institution of higher education and ten (10) years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specific to this position.
