Description

Central Penn College is seeking a Head Baseball Coach. Central Penn College is a member of the USCAA and Eastern States Athletic Conference that competes on a national level for small colleges. This position oversees all aspects of the baseball program and is committed to adhering to all rules and regulations of Central Penn College, the athletic department, and the USCAA. The head coach is responsible for monitoring the academic progress of the baseball student athletes, in addition to recruiting high school and transfer students for the baseball program and maintaining a healthy roster size. This role also coordinates the planning of the program schedule, facilities, games and events.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

• • Previous college or high school coaching experience
• • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• • Previous baseball playing experience preferred
• • Experience recruiting student athletes is a plus, but not required
• • Valid PA driver’s license.
