Managing Baseball Team and Operations of Entire Baseball Program
Provide oversight of Baseball Program and Team.
Ordering Supplies and Materials for Baseball.
Overseeing Budget for Baseball
Organizing Bus Travel and Overnight scheduling for team.
Organizes and maintains an accurate inventory of all eligibility, compliance and student records and transcripts.
Helps coordinate travel arrangements with scheduled events.
Planning and attending all state and national events that are required.
Commits to and is responsible for adheringto all rules and regulations set forth for the team, the institution, and the NAIA/Southern States Conference.
Completes other assigned administrative duties.
Touring Athletic Recruits includes calling prospective student-athletes, evaluating high school and junior college players, and 4-year players transcripts.
Works cooperatively with personnel in the athletics department, attends athletic department meetings and activities, and always represents ABAC positively and professionally when interacting with the community, high school and travel ball coaches, media and general public.
Coordinates facility needs of visiting teams.
Provide fundraising for Baseball Program with Camps and Fund Drives.
This position will comply with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, NAIA, and Southern States Conference rules and regulations. The Head Baseball Coach will work cooperatively and responsibly with other ABAC faculty and staff. The position will support the student-athlete concept and will demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. This position will perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
First Aid and CPR Certification Required within a month after hire
Prior Familiarity with Collegiate Athletics/NAIA Rules and Regulations Preferred.
