Head Bowling Coach – Men and Women

Brescia University, a small Catholic Liberal Arts University located in Kentucky is
searching for a full-time Head Bowling Coach for our new men’s and women’s bowling
program. This individual will be responsible for the successful development,
implementation, and evaluation of the new bowling program.

Qualifications are:

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s in Sports/Recreation or Student Personnel

Administration, Physical Education or other related program.

• 3 years of experience in the administration of athletic or recreation programs; at
the collegiate level is preferred, bowling coach experience at collegiate level
preferred.

• Must have valid drivers license and insurable by Brescia insurance.

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of fund-raising and budgeting practices

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the administration and oversight of both men’s and women’s

varsity team including:

o Recruiting within the guidelines established by NAIA and Brescia, scouting,
game and practice preparation, public relations/fundraising activities and
budget operations

• Coordinate and supervise practices, including strength and conditioning workouts
• Arrange all team travel plans and transportation; will travel with team including

overnight stays

• Maintain an inventory or team supplies and equipment
• Monitor and advise players on academic progress
