Job Description

This position is responsible for all matters pertaining to the PVAMU Women's Bowling program and the academic success of the student-athletes participating. It is also tasked with ensuring that the program is in compliance with the rules and regulations, policies and procedures of all its governing entities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all areas of daily operations, administration and management of the women's bowling program and team, including scheduling of practices and training and conditioning exercises. Also responsible for managing the sport's expense budget, making the teams travel arrangements and securing lodging accommodations for away competitions.

• Work with compliance and academic advising to monitor the progress of bowling teams athletes in the classroom.

• Attend clinics, workshops, conferences, and/or conventions to keep current on information regarding collegiate women's bowling. Also attend NCAA rules education meetings and/or trainings.

• Coordinate all phases of recruitment for the bowling program and be responsible for scouting and recruiting prospective student-athletes that will benefit the program both academically and athletically.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree.

• Five years of coaching experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
