The head cheer advisor is responsible for all phases of the cheerleading program this includes, providing supervision of practice, athletic contests, and special events, academic success, supervision of assistant coaches, organizing camps and clinics, fundraising, and general administrative duties. In addition, the Advisor will support the philosophy, goals, and mission of the University and its Intercollegiate Athletics program and adherence to Departmental and University policies and procedures.
The cheerleading team at Kutztown University is a non-varsity, co-ed, program on campus open to Kutztown University students. The mission of the Kutztown University Cheerleaders is to support, promote and represent Kutztown University through proper promotion of school spirit, pride, tradition, and student involvement.iversity, Conference and NCAA policies and procedures.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of cheer experience. Demonstrated ability in skill development, staff supervision, general administrative duties, fiscal management skills, and excellent organizational and communications skills. Candidate must complete a successful interview.
