Under the general direction of the Sr. Associate Athletics Director, responsible for all aspects of anNCAADivision I women’s golf program including student recruitment, scheduling, team travel, practice planning, budget management, selection and supervision of assistant coaches, administration of summer camps and clinics, and administration of the women’s golf program in full compliance withNCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license, certification and/or educational degree if required of the position.
Insert HereComplete and pass the National Collegiate Athletic Association Recruiting Examination perNCAAbylaw 13.1.2 (Permissible Recruiting) before recruiting.
CurrentCPR& First Aid certification or must obtain within 30 days from date of hire and certified bi-annually.
Collegiate coaching experience in the sport of women’s golf.
Knowledge ofNCAArules and regulations.
Knowledge of the rules and strategies of women’s golf. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for the UC Davis student-athlete to compete at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications
Insert HereOrganizational and administrative efficiency in implementing sports programs, i.e. event management, budgetary procedures, facility maintenance, participation in public relations activities.
Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student-athletes.
These include UC Davis, conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association policies and procedures.
