OVERVIEW

DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, the 550-acre suburban campus is located about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,000 includes undergraduate day, evening, and graduate students. DeSales has approximately 130 full-time faculty members and offers 50 bachelor's degrees, 14 graduate programs, and a number of certificates in a wide range of disciplines.

POSITION SUMMARY

DeSales University is an NCAA Division III member. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of the Baseball program including coaching, recruiting, organizing and planning both game and practice strategies, game management, staffing, scheduling, fund-raising, budgeting and team management. The head coach will oversee an assistant coach and graduate assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Previous coaching experience required preferably at the collegiate level
• Prior playing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s License with clean driving record
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays when necessary
