Position Summary Information
| Primary Purpose |
Responsible for the general oversight, management, and leadership of all aspects of the Baseball program at the University of the Pacific. Duties include general management, coaching, recruiting, extensive public relations, and other duties as assigned. On a day-to-day basis, the coach will be expected to work with the Athletic Director, and Sport Administrator, as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Three (3) years of experience coaching sports at the college or university level, which can include playing as a professional.
- CPR certification is required by the end of the introductory period of appointment.

Skills/Knowledge and Expertise:
Requires the ability to perform physical activities related to sports. Frequent time spent standing and walking. Occasional climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel
Work performed in a standard office, gymnasium, or athletic venues. Requires flexibility in schedule to meet recruiting, game, and event schedules. Extensive travel is required both nationally and internationally.
Valid driver’s license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University’s fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.

| Hiring Range | $140,000 - $160,000 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
