About the Role:

The Head Coach Bowling position is a leadership role responsible for developing and managing a competitive collegiate bowling program within Thomas More University. The primary goal is to cultivate student-athletes' skills, sportsmanship, and academic success while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. This role involves strategic planning for training, competition, and recruitment to build a successful and sustainable program. The Head Coach will serve as a mentor and role model, promoting personal growth and teamwork among athletes. Additionally, the coach will collaborate with athletic department staff to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience coaching bowling at the secondary education, collegiate or competitive amateur level.
  • Strong knowledge of bowling techniques, rules, and competitive strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop student-athletes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field.
  • Experience working within NCAA or similar collegiate athletic compliance frameworks.
