Position Summary

The Head Bowling Coach is responsible for the leadership, administration, organization, and oversight of the College’s bowling program. Working in collaboration with the Director of Athletics, the Head Coach plans, directs, supervises, and evaluates all aspects of the program while supporting the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the College’s intercollegiate athletics program. The Head Coach reports directly to the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Mission and values of Chestnut Hill College and the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Strong knowledge of bowling, including coaching techniques, player development, training, and conditioning.
  • Ability to assess student-athlete performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective coaching strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage student-athletes, parents, colleagues, and prospective students.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
