Saint Francis University, a NCAA Division III member of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, invites applications for the part- time 9-month position of Head Coach, Cheer.  The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of an NCAA Division III cheer program.  The season covers home football as well as home men’s and women’s basketball games and potential cheer competitions.  Other special sports and general community events will be attended on an as needed basis.

The successful candidate must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.  In addition, the candidate must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.

Bachelor’s degree is recommended.  Coaching or collegiate cheer team experience preferred.  Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.) required.  Must hold an active USA Cheer coach clearance (including valid background screening).

Eligibility requirement: Candidates must have current authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship or assist with work authorization.
