Saint Joseph's College of Maine seeks a part-time Head Coach, Club Women's** Lacrosse**! The Head Coach, Club Women's Lacrosse will assist in the development and management of all phases of the Saint Joseph’s College Lacrosse program.

• Recruit students to participate as active members of the women's club lacrosse program

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit students to participate as active members of the women's club lacrosse program

• Organize and execute effective practice plans
• Coordinate and organize contest schedule, travel, officials, athletic training and facility scheduling
• Serve as a mentor and resource to students
• Ensure compliance with departmental and club sport policies
• Develop fundraising initiatives to support program operations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of the game of lacrosse, faceoff position

• An ability to communicate clearly and work closely with players and coaches

• The willingness to attend all practices and contests both during weekdays and on weekends

• Playing experience preferred

• Coaching Experience preferred

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sincere interest in providing a valuable well-rounded team experience to the Saint Joseph’s College student-athletes

• Experience in competitive lacrosse and recruiting high school students preferred

• Capable of communicating well with head coach and student-athletes
