This position serves as the head coach of New College of Florida Cross Country. This includes recruiting scholar athletes,
creating practice plans and executing team activities, scheduling competitions, and additional duties.

Examples of Duties

The Head Coach of Cross Country will be directly responsible for the
recruitment of student athletes specialized in swimming. The head coach is
responsible for maintaining academic recruiting standards, and recruiting
athletes who fit New College’s mission of creating the best Liberal Arts
atmosphere in the country.
The Head Coach of Cross Country will be responsible for the scheduling and
execution of all New College Cross Country practices, meet’s, and other team
activities. This includes coordinating schedules with opponents, scheduling
team practice times and facilities as needed, and coordinating rosters and
other information as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of appropriate coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

Previous coaching experience at the intercollegiate level.
