Job Details:

Mercer University, a Division I member of the Southern Conference, is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Coach for Men's Basketball.

Responsibilities :

The head coach is responsible for conducting the program while developing departmental and University policies. Duties include coaching, recruiting, scheduling, purchasing of equipment, monitoring of student-athletes' academic progress, and compliance with NCAA and Southern Conference rules and regulations. In addition, the head coach will be responsible for promoting Mercer Athletics in the community.

Qualifications :

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and prior coaching experience are required. Prior Division I coaching experience is preferred. Master's degree is desired. Experience with and knowledge of NCAA rules also required.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.
