Job Description
Manages and directs all aspects of a Division 1A, Big Ten Men's basketball program. Instructs athletes in fundamentals of basketball, coaches technique and strategy. Recruits scholarship and walk on athletes. Manages all aspects of the program including, scheduling, travel, equipment needs, budget, & staffing. Monitors academic progress of student athletes. Participates in development activities to promote the program..

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in education or physical education

Additional Education Desired
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in education or physical education

Required Qualifications
Considerable experience coaching with a Division 1A Men's Basketball program. Excellent communication skills including the ability to work well with a highly diverse student and staff population. Dedicated commitment to excellence and integrity in providing leadership to student athletes for success in the classroom, in their sport, and in their personal development.
