About this position

The Head Coach, Men’s Basketball oversees all men’s basketball team activities at Emory & Henry. This position is responsible for the entire operation of the team, including the supervision of assistant coaches, volunteers, and student-athletes. This position is responsible for the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees all activities of a major athletic team.

• Plans and directs training of student-athletes and assesses individuals' abilities and skill levels to determine appropriate team positions.

• Analyzing opposition team performance and capabilities and determining game strategy.

• Assists players in reaching the highest athletic potential possible through athletic training and leadership skills.
