About the Role:
The Head Men’s Basketball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and provides strategic leadership, administration, and oversight of the Men’s Basketball program. As a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Division II) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Westminster University seeks a dynamic leader committed to competitive excellence, student-athlete development, and full compliance with institutional and governing regulations.
Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes, supervising assistant coaches, managing budgets and team operations, organizing practices and competition, and supporting fundraising and outreach efforts. The Head Coach is committed to student-athlete development, academic success, and fostering athletics as an integral part of the University’s educational mission.
The role requires strict adherence to all institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations, participation in compliance trainings, and a demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and the University’s mission.
