Friends University is seeking to fill the Head Coach Men’s Basketball position in Wichita Kansas. The Head Coach develops and directs strategy for recruiting, counseling and coaching student athletes in the men’s basketball program

Qualifications

Five years as a college assistant or head coach preferred; two years coaching at either high school or college level required. Experience in academic discipline or higher education, and two years of recruiting background desired.

Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s preferred. 

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner required.

Ability to recruit off campus, understanding of the game of basketball, ability to lead and supervise players and coaches. The ability to get along with a wide variety of people in various situations. Computer proficiency is desired (Microsoft Office preferred).
