Lesley University is seeking a Head Coach for Men's Tennis. Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Head Coach of the Men's Tennis program at Lesley University will lead the operations, management, coaching and cultivation of a competitive and successful Division III program while fostering an environment that contributes towards a positive student-athlete experience.
As the Head Coach of Men's Tennis, the role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities. This includes supporting student-athlete academic success and personal growth, managing all program aspects, coordinating practices and match-day coaching, actively recruiting top-tier students, participating in university recruitment events, maintaining discipline during athletic activities, representing the Athletic department in community events, fostering fundraising and alumni engagement, pursuing personal and professional development, attending essential meetings, and cultivating departmental relationships—all while adhering to relevant policies and accommodating flexible working hours, including nights and weekends.
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree with successful collegiate tennis experience.
Current CPR / AED certifications must be obtained upon hiring.
Driver’s License required.
Excellent customer and staff relation skills required.
Strong organization skills required.
