QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of three years of collegiate coaching experience or related experience required.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with the personal computer.
Language Skills
Effective written and verbal communication is essential. Ability to articulate athletic policies and procedures. Ability to respond to and deal with varied constituencies.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to develop budgetary, demographic and other reports that may require mathematical computations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to gather, organize, interpret and present information for reports. Ability to respond to crisis and emergencies. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to interact with students on a one-to-one basis as well as in groups. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others.
