Head Coach - Men's & Women's Golf (Part-time)

Position : Head Coach - Men's & Women's Golf (Part-time, 12-month staff position)

Reports to : Vice President of Athletics

Requirements : Bachelor's degree or equivalent; one to three years of related experience in high school or college level coaching; experience with men's and women's golf recruiting desired.

Primary Function : Coach the men's and women's golf programs of the University.

Duties :

1. Commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of the Department, the University, the Mountain East Conference (MEC), and the NCAA.
2. Schedule practice facilities and times; design and supervise practices both in-season and off season; teach all necessary fundamentals of men's and women's golf.
3. Recruit high school and transfer students for the University's men's and women's golf program; contact scouts, coaches, camp directors, alumni, etc. All recruiting activities should be completed in a highly professional manner.
4. In conjunction with the Vice President of Athletics, develop men's and women's golf schedule.
5. Provide budget recommendations to the Vice President of Athletics and manage expenditures to stay within approved amounts in both operations and scholarship budgets.
6. In conjunction with the Vice President of Athletics, identify volunteer assistant coaches while adhering to Point Park University human resources hiring policies.
7. Supervise and evaluate volunteer assistant coaches.

11. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Vice President of Athletics.
