SUMMARY
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Athletics, the Head Men’s and Women’s Indoor/Outdoor Track Coach and Stadium Facilities Manager is responsible for the recruiting of prospective student-athletes, planning and executing practices, contest scheduling, budget preparation, fundraising, and stadium facilities management. There is a strong emphasis on the recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years collegiate coaching experience or related experience required.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with the personal computer.
Language Skills
Effective written and verbal communication is essential. Ability to articulate athletic policies and procedures. Ability to respond to and deal with varied constituencies.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to develop budgetary, demographic and other reports that may require mathematical computations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to gather, organize, interpret and present information for reports. Ability to respond to crisis and emergencies. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to supervise and evaluate coaching performances. Ability to interact with students on a one-to-one basis as well as in groups. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others.
