Status: Exempt, Part-time (20 hours per week)

The College of Idaho is seeking a committed individual to join its Athletic Department as the Head
Coach for Women’s Tennis. This pivotal role is designed for a leader who is passionate about
student-athlete development and eager to foster a competitive, supportive environment. As the
face of the program, the Head Coach will be responsible for the overall management of the
women’s tennis team, ensuring that the program aligns with the college's mission while driving
excellence both on and off the court.

The primary focus of this position is the technical instruction and holistic development of student-
athletes. Responsibilities include conducting daily practices, managing match-day coaching, and
optimizing player performance. Beyond the court, the Head Coach handles critical administrative
and strategic tasks such as recruiting high-caliber student-athletes, managing the program budget,
and coordinating travel logistics. Furthermore, the coach is expected to lead fundraising initiatives,
monitor academic eligibility, and manage a comprehensive competition schedule for both
