| Primary Duties and
Responsibilities: |  

Under general supervision, administers, manages, and leads all strategic aspects of the University’s NCAA Division 1 Volleyball program in such a manner as to build and maintain a competitive, quality program that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the University at all times.

• Oversees all coaching responsibilities for the program,including planning, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices and training, and coaching at all competitions.
• Oversees all recruiting activity for the program in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.
• Schedules all practices and competitions for the program.
• Recommends for employment and manages staff of assistant coaches.
• Oversees all administrative and financial operations of the program, including partnering with the Executive Director of the Bruin Club on any fundraising initiatives or stewardship needs.
• Represents the program to various institutional programs and externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, students, parents, and the general public.
• Complies with all NCAA, Conference, University, and Department of Athletics policies.

  deficiencies and providing instruction to improve overall skill and performance.

• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
