_ Overview _
Mount Marty University is pleased to accept applicants for a part-time Head Dance Coach. Duties include overall responsibility for the dance program including coaching, recruiting and retaining student athletes, budgeting, organizing practices, scheduling, handling matters necessary to run a competitive program, and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

_ Duties and Responsibilities _

● Maintenance of official athletic documentation

● Sustain a roster of high quality

● Represent the university at appropriate community and sporting events

● Review of program and student athlete achievement for improvement of coaching methods and procedures
● Coaches and instructs dance team regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport
● Observes the dance team during events and practice to determine the needs for individual or team improvement

● Work with the Athletics Director in preparing budgets

● Maintain the budget, and check for proper crediting of accounts

● Prepare requisition forms when ordering equipment/uniforms/supplies

● Raise funds and monitor the sports project account – maintain a positive balance

● Assist in raising funds for the Athletic program

_ Qualifications _
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

● Experience in coaching high school or college athletics, with a dance background

● Strong management and budgeting skills
