Department: Athletics Office
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct and instruct the dance team.
- Work with students to teach choreography and dance techniques.
- Selects and arranges appropriate dances for athletic event performances.
- Oversee and instruct weekly practices.
- Coach the dance team at all men’s and women’s regular-season basketball home games, pre-season tournaments, holiday tournaments, conference tournament games, and any additional tournaments past the conference tournament.
- Coach the dance team at other events.
- Recruitment and selection of the team.
- Oversees and manages the allotted budget for the dance team.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or training and work experience at a level that equates to an advanced degree.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing dance instruction.
- Experience as a collegiate dance team member.
Salary Range: $10,704
FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt
