The Lebanon Valley College Department of Athletics seeks a dynamic, student-centered coach to guide our football program to continued success on and off the field. This 10-month position, working August through May, reports to the director of athletics and plays a vital role in shaping the student-athlete experience at LVC. The head football coach is responsible for providing visionary leadership for all aspects of the program—including the recruitment and development of academically and athletically talented student-athletes, the supervision and mentorship of the coaching staff, budget oversight, on-field coaching, and the cultivation of alumni and community relationships. The successful candidate will also take on a secondary assignment within the Department of Athletics as designated by the director. A strong commitment to academic and athletic excellence, inclusive team culture, and full compliance with Lebanon Valley College, NCAA, and MAC/Freedom Conference policies is essential. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred, minimum of five years of collegiate coaching experience (head coaching experience preferred), demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusion and belonging within a diverse community.
