Job Description:
The Head Football Coach will report to the Athletic Director and will be responsible for the overall organization, administration, and leadership of the football program. Responsibilities include practice planning (skill development and strategy), game preparation and management, supervision of assistant coaches, fundraising, budget oversight, scheduling, student-athlete recruitment and retention, academic oversight, compliance with NAIA and Sun Conference regulations, and additional duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will recruit, develop, and lead a competitive football program consistent with the mission of the University. This includes establishing the overall vision and philosophy of the program, hiring and supervising staff, developing offensive and defensive systems, overseeing strength and conditioning collaboration, managing roster composition, and making personnel decisions.
The Head Coach is responsible for maintaining compliance with NAIA and Sun Conference rules, promoting academic success and character development, fostering community engagement, and ensuring effective program administration.

Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
5+ years’ experience within a Professional, Collegiate, or High School football program, with demonstrated recruiting experience and previous collegiate coaching experience preferred. Head coaching experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience based on the Department scale.
