Cedar Crest College is seeking a Head Lacrosse Coach who will also serve as the Recruiting Coordinator. The coach will develop, recruit and administer a competitive women’s lacrosse program consistent with the student-athlete philosophy of NCAA Division III athletics. Coaches are also expected to develop, coordinate and manage an active recruitment and retention program for lacrosse student athletes.
The Recruiting Coordinator monitors recruiting efforts of the athletic department and serves as the direct liaison with the Office of Admissions. Activities such as overnight visits and traditional visits are coordinated through this position as is athletics staff representation at all admissions day events on campus including Junior Preview Days, Open Houses and orientations.
A bachelor's degree and prior experience coaching lacrosse at the high school or college level is required. Candidates must also have demonstrated success at effectively recruiting and retaining student-athletes. Prior experience coordinating recruitment is strongly preferred. CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are also required as is a valid driver’s license.
