Friends University is seeking to fill Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach position in Wichita Kansas. This position oversees all areas of the Friends University intercollegiate men’s and women’s tennis program. This includes budget management, personnel management, practice and game planning, recruitment and retention. To support the Christian mission and values of Friends University and the NAIA champions of Character.

2-4 years of coaching experience preferred; College coaching and recruitment experience preferred.

Bachelor’sdegreerequiredand Master’s degreepreferred

Excellentwritten, oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. The ability to motivate and influence others is material to this position. Requires diplomacy, ability to garner trust of others and maintaining confidential information. Ability to lead in an inclusive and developmental manner. Theposition requires strong financial management, time management and personnel management skills. The individual must possess acute understanding of sport preparation and facilitation. Some experience and skill in fundraising and summer camp developmentwill be considered. The individual must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 pounds. Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Will includeevening and/or weekend hours.
