Monmouth College seeks applications for the position of Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country coach and Distance Coach for Track and Field. Reporting to the Director of Running Programs, the Head Women’s Cross Country/Distance Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Cross Country/Distance program as well as being committed to the academic mission of the College. The Head Cross Country-Distance Coach teaches the sport of distance running to student athletes, and provides for the coaching, recruitment and retention of distance runners.

Position requires effective experience. Commitment to the mission of a residential liberal arts college, valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are also among the requirements. Desired qualifications include but are not limited to:

• · Excellent understanding of NCAA III philosophy
• · Ability to work effectively with college students
